Games for learning colours and shapes

Colours and shapes are among the first ideas children sort the world by. In Ubee games they can practise naming colours, recognising circles, squares and triangles and matching pieces by colour, shape or size. The list includes geometric inset boards, Séguin boards, card games with colour tasks, sorting boxes and inset puzzles with colourful figures. Many games combine two features at once, for example colour and shape, so children learn to compare and classify. All games are recommended from 3 years.
