About the game

Snowflakes, winter patterns and geometric shapes have come together in one festive game. Where does the round piece go, and where would a triangle fit? Take a close look at each board and help the shapes find their places!

‘Séguin Puzzles: New Year’s Patterns – Geometric Shapes’ is a wooden shape-matching game. The child looks at the tiles featuring winter illustrations and selects the corresponding geometric pieces: circles, squares, triangles, ovals, rectangles and other shapes.

Every shape matched correctly is a small victory, and the winter patterns add a festive touch to this simple sorting game.

In the set

How to play

1. Lay out the boards and shapes.
2. The child looks for a shape that matches both the shape and the pattern.
3. Place each shape onto its corresponding board.
