About the game

Aircraft with unusual wings and tails have gathered in the sky. One has blue wings and a red tail, whilst another has a completely different combination. Will you be able to find the right place for each aeroplane based on its two colours?

‘Aeroplanes: Colours’ is a wooden sorting puzzle featuring colour-matching tasks. The child uses the coloured dots on the left and at the top as a guide, selects the aeroplane with the matching wings and tail, and places it in the correct slot. A rainbow-coloured marker helps to indicate the correct answer.

Every aeroplane placed correctly is a small success in a game where two colours must be taken into account at the same time.

In the set

• a 23 × 21 cm frame with a grid
• 30 inserts: paint splashes as clues (on the left and top), aeroplanes with multicoloured wings and tails, and a rainbow insert
• the inserts are interchangeable — the tasks can be varied

How to play

1. Arrange the colours from left to right and top to bottom.
2. The child looks for an aeroplane whose wings are the same colour as those in the row, and whose tail is the same colour as those in the column.
3. Fill in the grid to create a rainbow template.

Where to start

Start with the 2 colours on the left and the 2 at the top.
