About the game

Bright shapes and unusual patterns are all mixed up. The shape seems to fit, but does the pattern match? Try to find the right pair, paying attention to every detail.

‘Séguin Boards: With Patterns’ is a wooden game for matching shapes and patterns. The child selects a tile to fit into the corresponding frame, checking two features at once: the geometric shape and the bright pattern. Even similar pieces need to be compared carefully to find the exact match.

The right shape and the right pattern — a double puzzle that makes every pair found particularly rewarding.

In the set

• 18 stencil frames with colourful patterns
• 18 geometric shapes: circle, square, triangle, oval and others

How to play

1. Lay out the frames and shapes.
2. The child looks for a shape that matches both in shape and pattern.
3. Check: if the shape fits perfectly, the pair has been found.

Where to start

Start with 4–5 frames of different shapes.
