‘Winter Fairy Tale’ Velcro card game

About the game

In the winter playground, preparations are underway for the festive season: the animals are playing near the little house, the snowman is waiting for guests, and the presents and decorations need to be put in their rightful places. Help create a cosy winter fairy tale!

‘Winter Fairy Tale’ is a Velcro-based game with task cards. The child places characters, windows, doors, stairs and festive details on the game board, recreating the image from a model, individual fragments or silhouettes. The interchangeable pieces allow a new composition to be created each time.

Each completed card is another page in a little winter story that the child creates with their own hands.

In the set

• a 32 × 23 cm board featuring a winter courtyard and a little house
• 30 figures with Velcro fastenings: animals, a snowman, windows, doors, stairs, presents, a wreath, a little shop
• 10 double-sided cards — 20 activities: matching the example, matching fragments, matching silhouettes

How to play

1. Choose a card.
2. The child attaches the figures to the Velcro strips, as shown on the card.
3. Check it’s correct — then move on to the next one.

Where to start

Start with free play: ‘build’ a little house without using the card.
