A game to develop memory and concentration: ‘Who was on the street?’

About the game

There were so many visitors on the winter street just a moment ago! But they’ve all vanished, leaving only footprints behind. Who was out and about here — and can you remember every character?

‘Who was on the street?’ — a game of memory and observation using double-sided cards. The child looks at the characters on one side of the card, tries to memorise them, then turns the card over and recreates what they saw using the figures on their stands. Tasks featuring different numbers of characters allow you to gradually increase the game’s difficulty, whilst the elves add a touch of fairy-tale magic.

Every correctly recalled figure is a small victory, and the footprints on the street turn into an intriguing memory puzzle.

How to play

1. Show your child the card with the characters on it for a few seconds.
2. Turn it over — only the outlines remain.
3. Your child sends those who were here out into the street.
