‘Animals’ wooden puzzle

About the game

In this unusual jigsaw puzzle, animals are hidden amongst the triangles. One half of the tiger is here, the other is right next to it, whilst the rest of the whale, parrot or fox needs to be found elsewhere. Will you manage to match up all the animals correctly?

‘Animals’ is a wooden jigsaw puzzle in a hexagonal frame. The child arranges the triangular pieces so that complete images of animals are formed where they join. You need to compare the halves carefully, rotate the pieces and find the right combinations.

Thirty animals and countless little searches — every pair you find brings you closer to the complete picture.

In the set

• a hexagonal frame measuring 24 × 27 cm
• triangular inserts: at the joints are halves of animals that need to be matched
• 30 animals: a penguin, a fox, a frog, a tiger, a shark, a parrot, a snail, a whale, a camel and others

How to play

1. Take out the triangles.
2. The child looks for matching animal halves.
3. Assemble the hexagon so that all the animals are complete.

Where to start

Start with the corner triangle and look for its neighbours.

• ‘Find the matching pair’;

• ‘Who lives in the water?’;
• Assemble as quickly as possible.
