Three-layer wooden ‘Farm’ puzzle

About the game

It’s time to head home on the farm. The cow is looking for her barn, the horse is looking for her stable, and the hen is hurrying to the henhouse with her chicks. Help all the farm animals find their right homes!

‘The Farm’ is a wooden three-layer puzzle with lift-the-flap doors, behind which the animals and their young are hidden. The child opens the cowshed, the stable, the henhouse, the pigsty and the doghouse, finds the corresponding animals and puts the different layers of the picture together.

Every door that’s opened brings a new encounter with the farm’s inhabitants and a little story about their home.

In the set

• a three-layer base measuring 32 × 23 cm: a cowshed, a stable, a henhouse, a pigsty and a doghouse
• insertable doors behind which the animals are hidden
• insertable animals: a cow with a calf, a horse with a foal, a hen with chicks, a pig with a piglet, a dog, a lamb

How to play

1. Open the door and have a look inside.
2. The child places each animal in its own little house.
3. Close the door — ‘Who lives there?’

Where to start

Start with the cow and the dog — the most familiar ones.
