About the game

Nine little houses are hidden in a big tree. Who lives behind the door marked with the number three, and who can be found behind the other shutters? Open the houses and meet their inhabitants!

‘Whose little house is in the tree?’ — a three-layer wooden insert frame featuring animals and numbered little houses. The child finds the right places for the mouse, the rabbit, the owl, the bear and the other inhabitants. Hidden beneath each little house is a clue to help identify the correct match.

Every door that’s opened reveals a little surprise, and the whole tree gradually transforms into a cosy home for the animals.

In the set

• a three-layer wooden base measuring 32 × 23 cm
• 9 little houses with shutters, each featuring a number from 1 to 9
• 9 animal inserts: a mouse, a rabbit, an owl, a bear, a frog, a cow, a hedgehog and others
• beneath each little house is a room that hints at who lives there

How to play

1. Open the little houses and have a look inside the rooms.
2. The child decides which animal lives there and places it inside.
3. Close the little house — and say its number.

Where to start

Start with the three little houses where the clues are most obvious: cheese — a mouse, carrot — a bunny.
