About the game

Who’s hiding inside the egg? A feather suggests there might be a baby bird inside, whilst scales or paw prints hint at a completely different inhabitant. Try to guess who’s waiting under each shell!

‘Who’s in the egg?’ — a two-layer wooden jigsaw puzzle with egg-shaped inserts and illustrated clues. The child examines the feather, paw print, scale or wave pattern on the top layer, makes a guess and opens the egg. Hidden beneath the inserts are baby birds, a little tortoise, a snake, a baby crocodile, a tiny dinosaur and other little creatures.

Ten eggs — ten little mysteries that you’ll want to open and solve.

In the set

• a two-layer board measuring 32 × 23 cm
• 10 egg-shaped tabs with clues: a feather, a paw print, a scale, a sea wave and others
• 10 pictures underneath them: baby birds, a snail, a snake, a baby crocodile, a baby dinosaur and others

How to play

1. Look at the eggs and the clues on them.
2. The child guesses who will hatch and finds the little one.
3. Place the little one inside, then put the egg on top.

Where to start

Start with 3–4 of the most familiar ones: a chick, a penguin chick, a turtle.
